Position:

Under the general supervision of the Manager, Clinical Services, the Registered Nurse assesses, plans, implements and
evaluates client care. Working in a collaborative relationship with the interdisciplinary team, the Registered Nurse ensures the delivery of client-centered care by assisting individual clients and their families respond to changing health care needs.

The Registered Nurse demonstrates specialized Body of Knowledge and bases practice on nursing science and on related
content from other sciences and humanities. The registered nurse practices in a variety of clinical settings and in
accordance with the College of Registered Nurses of British Columbia (CRNBC) Standards for Practice, and established
organizational policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

• Graduate of Accredited School/College of Nursing.
• Current Registration with the College of Registered Nurses of British Columbia (CRNBC).
• C.P.R. Level II. 
• A.C.L.S. (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) or C.A.M. (Cardiac Arrest Management) certification required,or must be willing to attain certification.
• Candidates with certification in Post Basic Emergency Nursing, Critical Care Nursing or educational equivalent preferred.
