COORDINATOR – HEALTH CAREERS STUDENT AFFAIRS AND CLINICAL PLACEMENT

• management of the Clinical Placement team
• provide guidance for students on their educational journey
• student affairs and coordination of general studies courses

The successful candidate must have a good understanding of post-secondary education, have excellent interpersonal skills, demonstrated ability to mediate and resolve student issues, and be able to work within a progressive and dynamic team which is a leader in health care education.

Qualifications:

·        RN or LPN with related degree (e.g. BN, Education, Health Administration)

·        Master’s degree related subject area (e.g. MEd, MN, MBA, MDE) preferred

·        Current registration/license

·        Teaching experience in a health program

·        Experience with mediation and conflict resolution preferred

·        Experience with program coordination preferred

·        Experience in supervision, budgeting, program management are an asset

·        Must be able to use MS Word, Excel.
